Our Mission Trip Benefit provides an exciting opportunity for members to find new ways to live generously each day.
Awarded to qualified FaithLife Financial members who are planning a mission trip with their church or registered Canadian charity, this benefit includes several elements.
- A $200 cheque to help fund your upcoming mission trip
- A Live Generously Now T-shirt
- A FaithLife Financial tote bag
- Five FaithLife Financial brochures to introduce us to others going on your trip
One of our members sent this report on how they used the Mission Trip Benefit on a recent trip. “During my time in San Quintin, Mexico it was amazing to see the impact on the community in just a week of being there. We built a house for a family that used to live in a tiny shed-like house that would have to house the family of five and sometimes their relatives as well. In my trip I also participated in VBS to teach children about God. We built the house in the same community that One Life One Chance Ministries continues to build in, creating lasting relationships with the locals. It was a privilege to be part of a life changing experience for a family in San Quintin, Mexico.”
Founded in 2007 and based in Chilliwack BC, One Life One Chance Ministries works in the San Quintin Valley, Baja, Mexico. They use their property as a basecamp for serving teams and work through the local church to provide shelter and basic needs for the local community.
Short-term mission trips give people the opportunity to see a larger picture of the church through visiting different cities and cultures. Through a missions’ experience, participants experience new ways to serve others using their gifts and abilities and are often stretched out of their comfort zone for the better.
If you’re considering missions and you’re an adult Full Member, consider applying for this benefit. Applications must be received and approved four to five weeks before the planned trip.
Our Mission Trip Benefit is just one of our unique member benefits offering opportunities for you to support the communities and causes you care about. Other individual member benefits include action teams, wills and the power of attorney, and orphan benefit. Visit our Member Benefits page for details.
