As FaithLife Financial’s Sales Managers, the District Managers oversee all our Financial Representatives with a focus on serving the interests of our members, now and into the future.
District Manager, Manitoba & Saskatchewan
I have been in the Financial Services Industry for over 26 years. The majority of my career was spent as an Advisor, before I moved into multiple mid-level management roles, ultimately becoming a District Manager for FaithLife Financial. Having been an advisor I have firsthand knowledge of the drive necessary to build a successful business in the Financial Services Industry.
I’ve always loved my career, but felt my previous company was becoming too large, and more and more focused on corporate profit. I started to lose my excitement and passion for the direction of the company. With FaithLife Financial, I felt that their value proposition: Helping people be wise with money and live generously along with their core values of serving, teaching, encouraging, giving, leading, and showing kindness are certainly something I can strongly identify with.
Over the course of 26 years in this industry, I have worked with hundreds of Financial Representatives and clients. I have seen the immeasurable value that our products and services have provided families in their time of need. I am often reminded of this phrase, “When a loved one passes on, we in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry are often the only ones providing a source of income to grieving families, while everyone else is asking for payment.” There is no greater feeling than helping a family protect their financial future. This is what makes the role of a Financial Representative so important and relevant today.
District Manager, Southern Ontario
I began my career in financial services as an advisor in 2014. Quickly, I built a reputation within the industry, as my peers began to take notice of my tremendous success with cold prospecting. It landed me speaking engagements at financial centres across Ontario. Committed to continued education in the industry, I transitioned from a career sales force channel to the brokerage channel to deepen my understanding of all aspects of the business. I’ve always had a passion for recruiting, mentoring and coaching. In 2019, I made a full-time transition to FaithLife Financial as a District Manager, where I am excited about the opportunity to recruit and coach new Financial Representatives who will help Canadians to protect their financial futures.
I joined FaithLife Financial because I believe in the company’s core values and principles that they share with their representatives and their members. It was refreshing to see a company with a model that reinvests a portion of the company’s corporate earnings so that their members can support the communities in which they work and live. District Manager, The Greater Toronto Area East Brokerage Channel
I have been in the financial services industry for 32 years, starting my career as a commercial banker with a major Canadian bank and later with several life insurance companies and investment dealers as a Branch Manager, Managing Director and a Managing General Agent. I earned an Honours Degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario, and an MBA from Schulick Business School, CFP, CLU and CH. FC.
I joined FaithLife Financial as a District Manager because of its unique value proposition with Christian values. They also have a strong dedication to helping their sales force grow, while still having a commitment to stewardship and their members. As a District Manager, I enjoy working with Financial Representatives in building their practices by sharing sales concepts and facing challenges together. I look forward to continuing to help new Financial Representatives grow their businesses and protect family’s financial futures.
District Manager, Alberta
I have been in the financial services industry since 2004 as an advisor. In 2019, I transitioned into a District Manager role at FaithLife Financial. I have been a certified financial planner (CFP) since 2010 and presently, I am working toward my fraternal insurance counsellor designation (FIC) as well. I thoroughly enjoy this career, which has been very rewarding because I am able to help protect the financial futures of individuals, families and businesses by identifying risks for my clients and how these risks can be reduced with insurance solutions. As the father of an autistic child, I also bring a wealth of experience in planning strategies for special needs families. My own experiences have taught me so much and I am passionate about what a difference that can be made to protect families when an unforeseen event occurs.
I am thrilled to continue this journey as a District Manager and to share my knowledge in the field by coaching Financial Representatives. I am here to support our Financial Representatives as they work to build their business.
I am a big believer in community and in volunteering to make communities a better place for our children to grow up in.
