We’ll get you started and stand by you
Onboarding Support
Together, you and your District Manager will work through a four part onboarding process to ensure your success as a FaithLife Financial Representative. Our goal is to have you equipped with the required licensing and to help you feel confident when dealing directly with members.
Complete Training
New Financial Representatives to FaithLife Financial will receive in-depth training to help launch successful businesses. Your training will offer you a variety of opportunities to build your skills through activities such as virtual training, self-study and joint field work with seasoned Financial Representatives and managers.
Business Development
Work with your District Manager to create an annual sales plan and establish objectives and actions that will align with your compensation goals. We are dedicated to ongoing marketing and advertising initiatives to create brand awareness, engage new audiences, generate leads, and support Financial Representatives – equipping you with sales tools to advance your business goals.
Compensation & Reward
We know it’s important to control your income. That’s why you’ll have opportunities to earn commissions for new product sales and ongoing incentives for maintaining, building and strengthening member relationships. You’ll be recognized for your achievements, build lifelong relationships with your peers and help others to protect the ones they love.

Explore Your Future
Our recruiting process can take eight weeks or more because we want to hire talented people who we’re confident can succeed as a Financial Representative. For this reason, our process is made up of three separate phases.
Phase One: Discovery
During phase one, you will start to determine if our career opportunity is a fit with your personality. You can expect:
- Suitability profiles
- Interviews and reference checking
Phase Two: Career Preview
Phase two will enable you to gain specific insights into a career as a financial representative so you can make a well-informed decision. Phase two involves:
- Career and market analysis
- Job shadowing
Phase 3: Licensing and Contracting
In this final phase of the process, you must pass your provincial licensing exam. Then you are well on your way to building a career as a financial representative at FaithLife Financial. Your final steps include:
- Provincial licensing
- Contract execution
- Business plan development

Comprehensive training to help you succeed
You will receive product and technology training, as well as comprehensive sales training both online and one-on-one with your District Manager. FaithLife Financial is committed to lifelong learning for all Financial Representatives. We offer online learning programs, along with a reward system that can be used for professional development opportunities.
Steps to Success
Our Financial Representatives are passionate about working with people in the community – at church, in their stores, at school, on the rink, outside their farms and inside their homes. There are six steps to success:
Step 1: Create a network
Build relationships with family, friends, neighbours, churches, schools, business and community groups – relationships built on trust and nurtured over time.
Step 2: Meet with people
Explore and analyze their financial needs, through a comprehensive and systematic needs analysis approach.
Step 3: Develop a financial roadmap
This will help to achieve the member’s financial goals .
Step 4: Share expert knowledge
About insurance and investment products that best fit the member’s financial objectives. Help them put their plan in action.
Step 5: Follow up with customers
When they purchase a life insurance policy or investment with us, the customer becomes a member of FaithLife Financial. Regular contact with the member to ensure satisfaction, keep financial plans current and gain all-important referrals, is the lifeblood of any financial practice.
Step 6: Work with the members’ Churches
You can help members’ congregations achieve their mission by leveraging the benefits and support programs available to them.
