Charitable Giving Benefit

When you purchase a new permanent FaithLife Financial life insurance plan, upon your death, we will donate up to $5,000 to your church or favourite charity. The donation matches 2% of your permanent life insurance death benefit up to our maximum - at no added cost to you.
This benefit is not intended to replace your current planned gifts, but is an additional means for you to support the church or charity that has meaning for you. It is also a meaningful way in which FaithLife Financial can help you live your values and build a better world.
What policies are eligible?
Any FaithLife Financial permanent life policy issued after July 1, 2005 including Whole Life, Universal Life, Essential Life and Term 100 policies.
Who can take advantage of this benefit?
This benefit is available only to the owners of permanent life policies issued after July 1, 2005.
How do I apply?
Simply complete and return to us the Charitable Designation form included in your policy documents or contact your FaithLife Financial representative.
What organizations are eligible?
The church or organization must have a registered charity status to be designated. The owner of the policy is responsible for ensuring they have valid status.
How do I update or change the information?
The owner of the policy is responsible for updating information on their designate for such things as address or name changes to ensure a payment can be made at time of death. The owner of the policy can change the church or charitable organization at any time by completing a new Charitable Designation form. These forms are available from a FaithLife Financial Representative or by contacting our Head Office .
The Charitable Giving Benefit is not contractual and may be modified at any time by FaithLife Financial, at its sole discretion.
